Vintage Friedman Silver Co. Silverplate Bridal Basket Calling Card Receiver
Up for auction is this Vintage Friedman Silver Co. Silver Plate Bridal Basket.  It measures 7" tall including the handle and 6 1/2" across the basket. There are some spots in the basket that won't polish out. The markings are on the bottom.  It is from the Friedman Silver Co. Brooklyn, N.Y. established in 1908 and sold to Gorham Corp. in 1960.
Used as a calling card receiver/holder.
