Vintage Eisenberg Lozano 1960's French Silver Plated Wire Wine Caddy/Basket

This lovely silver plated woven wire wine basket or caddy was made in France and imported by Eisenberg-Lozano of New York in about 1960. (Eisenberg-Lozano imported silver wares from 1953-1970.)  It is tarnished here and there as seen in the photos but is still quite bright. I do not believe that old silver plate and especially a piece with a mirror finish can be polished--be sure to research that before you decide to polish. It really looks great as is. The bottom is marked EL and France and 465. Measures 10 1/2 long x 4 wide x 6 1/4 high.We inherited this from my mother-in-law 30 years ago--it's fun to use when serving wine!
