Victorian Webster & Son Repousse Silverplate Ornate Bride Wedding Basket Antique

A lovely antique silverplated brides basket made by Webster & co. This piece is huge 14 ½” tall with handle, 10 ¼” wide, and 8” wide on narrow side. This was used to carry the brides flowers during the wedding ceremony. The repousse design is so interesting, very ornate - Victorian era with cherubs & birds flying throughout...flowers, trellis & leaves. A beautiful piece that would be very hard to come by. There is silverplate wear but that is to be expected for it’s age. Please see all photos (zoom/enlarge) for condition.
