    Description

    Victorian Meriden Silver Plate Bridal Basket
    Four footed base, ornate cherub swing handle, continued around rim with cherubs, but with open design.  Stamped 01644 on the bottom.  Exquisite etched flower motif in basket area.  Oval shape 12” x 9”, 4” to rim, 9-½” in to top of handle.  Lovely piece as is or you may polish.  Circa 1869 - 1890.
