STUNNING ENGLISH SILVER PLATED FRUIT/ BISCUIT BASKET CUT OUT DESIGN C 1930

We are offering for your consideration a stunning, silver plated, Fruit / Biscuit or Center Piece Basket that is marked, “Made In England.”
The piece bears the PHS hallmark but it could not be identified. I e-mailed a friend that owns an antique store in Camden Square in London called Honey’s and she stated she has sold items with that hallmark before and could not find the hallmark. She dated the basket as circa: 1930 by the design. The piece measures 7 inches high and 10 inches in diameter. The center piece basket has a striking undulating design with both a curved and a cutout outer top rim. The basket has a highly detailed, cutout design with hearts, scroll work and other geometric designs that resembles old lace. As you are aware a design such as this is much harder and costly to produce. The elongated, moveable handle has a similar cutout design on the top.
