Antique Pairpoint Silver Plate Pedestal Compote Basket Art Nouveau Aesthetic Era. Gorgeous pedestal compote basket with handle. Raised in the picture but it does not stay in the raised position. Collapsible if you will. Textured interior with smooth to rough textured surface. Side wide trim rim area features panels of flowers, wheat sheaths, scrolls work, aesthetic design, art nouveau in age. 11" wide by 4.5" tall to rim. 8" diameter usable interior space.
Very pretty leaf and scroll work o top of handle as well. So pretty. Bottom signed Pairpoint Mfg Co., with #1238.
Condition Notes:
The bottom rim is a bit dented in spots so it's not perfectly round, see back side photos. Original patina.
