Amazingly crafted fruit basket ,circa 1950's.
Modernist Designed with leaves, berries, flowers, and scroll work with sculpted handle that overlaps.
Base measures 5 1/4" diameter.
Top bowl measures 9 1/2" in diameter.
From base to top is 5 1/2", from base to top of handle is 11 1/2" Signed, "Middletown Plated Quadruple (Scale picture), 1857, Hard White Metal".
