A "rare" find!   -  a miniature Victorian BRIDE'S BASKET - likely a Salesman's Sample - made by the MIDDLETOWN Plate Co. - circa 1890's.  The little ruffled & fluted Bowl is a perfect fit for the frame - made of glossy pink cased opalware glass with a vaseline edge - decorated with hand painted, raised enamel flowers and beading in a pretty lavender color.  The Frame has a twist handle with little balls in the openings and a platform base with 4 decorative side holders.
