    Description

    The chasing (embossed) designs on this heavy basket are detailed depictions of life in a vintage village.  It is 6.5" diameter and 5" high and has a 3 section glass liner.  It is marked on the bottom with a K & S in a square with another square mark in between.  Also number 83632.  There was an American company called KS Silver Co which became Knickerbocker in 1962.  It could also be an English Hallmark, but my research didn't come up with anything.  It is very nice!
