FRENCH Vintage Silver Plate Wine Bottle Holder Basket Woven Champaign Serving

We are happy to offer for your consideration A beautiful and very well-crafted silver plated wine holding basket. Very popular in the restaurants all over France, the wire basket and the wine bottle are almost as much of a symbol of France as the baguette.
This particular basket has excellent and very detailed craftsmanship. I have included the maximum a number of pictures so that you can see it from every angle but the weaving from the top to the bottom is very intricate. I could not find a brand name marked anywhere but it was certainly made by a top manufacture.
It measures 12 inches long by 8 inches high by 4 1/2 inches wide. Perfect for holding your wine or champagne bottle. For a special dinner or a picnic. It will be a good memory keepsake for a special event or a lovely wedding gift. We have left it un polished so the patina is a bit darker. It could certainly be polished if you would prefer it To have a brighter look.
