Estate Sale Fresh Victorian Bride's Basket with Glass Insert - STORE CLOSING

Up for your consideration is this Victorian Meridian Bride's Basket with glass insert.  Glass insert is beautifully embossed with designs and scalloped edges.  There are a few small flea bites and one little chip in the scalloping due to age and use. There are no cracks.  The silver plate has depictions of birds among flowers.  The rim around the bottom has daisies.  The bottom is stamped Meridian with the number 256. The cartouche at the top of the handle has not been engraved, which is rare as these were usually given as personalized gifts. One of the small silver plate flowers is missing from the side of the basket as seen in photo. I have not polished the silver plate or touched it due to customers letting me know that they like to polish with their own products so I no longer clean up the sliver plate. This came from an estate in Dallas, Texas as is being sold AS IS Antique Condition.  Please keep in mind that items like this are well over 100 years old and have been used, which gives them character and personality. Measures: Glass insert: 1'x6.25", The basket from feet to handle top is 11" tall. Base is 6"x4.5"
