E.P.N.S. Cake/ Bride's Basket Vintage BRS. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail. Vintage 1890's-1958, after 1958 the BRS dies were sold to Garden Silver Co. 9.5" diameter, 9.5" H to handle tip. Stamped on bottom BRS nickel Silver, 3316, Apollo Sheffield, made in USA. Made by Bernard Rice's Sons, New York, NY. Designed to serve cakes & fruit. These baskets were used by the flower girl to carry rose petals. Then set on the bridal table to showcase the bridal bouquet. Later used in the home for formal dinners & special occasions to serve cake or fruit. This particular basket is considered rare by some. I have only found one matching platter. No damage, one part of handle slightly bent, see pics. I accept most offers and use recycled packaging materials when possible.
