DATED 1868 REDFIELD & RICE ANTIQUE SILVERPLATE HANDLED 12" BASKET- ETCHED DESIGN

Description

Up for auction is this fantastic Redfield and Rice (NEW YORK, USA) antique silver plate swinging handled basket.  The piece is dated, inside the basket under a fancy "RM" monogram to the date "1868".  It has Victorian Art Nouveau influenced etched designs throughout.  The edges a have textured line design.  The handle has a ball top and swings back and forth.  Measures about a large 12 inches long X 8 3/3 inches wide and 10 12/ inches tall with handle up.  Fully marked on the footed bottom with the Redfield & Rice New York logo.  In nice condition with no dents or pitting.  Some relatively minor scratches in the bowl from years of cleaning/polishing.  A great piece offered with NO RESERVE!!
