Description
VINTAGE SILVERPLATE BASKET
Dainty and sweet vintage sivlerplate nut or candy basket measuring about 3-1/3" wide, 1-3/4" tall and 4-1/2" to the top of the handle. Featuring a simple round shape with short, molded foot and rolled edge, it has a hinged dual band swing handle with decorative knot in the center top. Unmarked as to maker, condition is lovely with no dents, discoloration, plating loss, repairs or damage. I just polished it up and it positively glows - there is a bit of scraping on the underside as shown that does not detract. Just a pretty little silverplate basket with a beautiful, warm patina - lovely addition to any table, home, collection or display.
