2" x 2" (Shank) x 3" (FLT) x 6-3/4" (OAL) 3 FLT Roughing CNC End Mill for Aerospace Alumimum. This end mill is treated/hardend using "Salt Bath Hardening Process".
Balax AB-Extra Roughing End Mills are desinged for high speed milling of alumimum or other soft materials. They are made from hardened high speed tool steel and have three large, highly polished flutes for fast chip ejection. All AB-Extra Roughers have center cutting end features.
