Antique Victorian Silver Plated Bride's Basket ~ Meriden Co #1650.
Measures 14.5” tall with handle up and 10”wide.
I fell in love with this brides basket as soon as I saw it! Unfortunately during the transport home, the handle and foot was broken. It’s still a gorgeous piece and with the right crafty hands, will continue to be admired as much I assume “D” did.
I included as many pictures as possible to show the flaws as well as the beauty in this piece.
It needs a good polishing as with any southern lady will tell you, “if I can’t fix it, I ain’t polishing it in this heat.” Bless it.
