    Description

In this listing, I am offering to you a beautiful Antique Victorian Silver Plated "Brides" Basket.  Made during the second half of the 19th Century, these Baskets were popular gifts for the Bride. Used to display the bridal bouquet during the reception and/or used as a basket for the flower girl to carry her petals.  Afterwards, the new bride would use the basket to serve sweet cakes or fruit to her guests.  It has a swing arm and an overall floral motif that has been hand finished with beautiful details.
Approximate Measurements:  Basket without the handle: 4" tall x 13" long x 10" deep
Condition:  There is very minor loss of plating and some minor pitting in the creases.  None are very noticeable. In one of the pictures showing the inside of the bowl, there is some blueish areas.  This is not tarnish or loss of plating.  It is a reflection from the sky.  I did not notice it at first or I would have taken another picture.  Please see the pictures for more information on these areas as they serve as part of my description.
