ANTIQUE VICTORIAN ENGLISH SILVERPLATE BASKET C.1865

Description

Antique Victorian beautifully engraved silverplate basket from the David Orgell Collection in Beverly Hills, CA. Good condition in original box with tag and receipt printed on the inside lid of box. Size of basket is approx. 10” high with handle raised, 3 1/2” high with handle down and 11 7/8” x 9 3/4” wide; base measures
5 1/2” x 3 3/4”. Makers Mark L&H, E.P.N.S., and the etched initials TB. This item has been hand polished, while leaving just enough patina to reveal its true age. Box is shelf worn and has some rough edges.  There is a unevenness in the base, causing a slight wobble.
