Antique Victorian Bride's Basket Bowl Silver Plate Cased Blown Art Glass 1890s.
For your consideration is an Antique Victorian Bride's Basket and Bowl circa 1890's. The basket was made by Warren Silver Plate Company of New York and is model 537.  The brides basket was made using a blown Glass technique and has a nicely ground pontil. The coloring is a dark pink pink that fades to a pale pink towards the center with crimped edges.
Condition: The quadruple plate basket does have wear in addition to some surface rust on the handle as shown in photos. The basket does not have any cracks, broken pieces or repairs. The blown Glass basket is in very good condition and does not have any chips, cracks or repairs.
Measurements: The basket measures 11 1/4" in height; 11 3/4" in width; apx. 4 1/4 at the base and 3 3/4" where the bowl fits. The glass bowl is apx. 3 1/4" in height; 10 1/4" diameter and the base is 3 3/8". The bowl does fit properly into the base. Please review and enhance the photos as they are part of the description.
