Antique TUFTS Silverplate Elaborate Repoussé Mermaid Victorian Brides Basket

Up for sale today is a Gorgeous Antique Victorian Silverplate Bonbon or Brides Basket by the James W. Tufts company. This basket is heavily decorated with elaborate Repoussé decorations, including a wonderul Mermaid and child motif in the center! Overall the basket measures approx. 9 1/4" x 10 3/4" and approx. 3" tall not including the handle (approx. 10 1/2" tall with the handle up). It carries the early Tufts "coin" hallmark on the bottom. Its really in wonderful condition for its age. There is typical use/storage wear, such as possible light scratches or rubs. The only breaks I can find are to the decorate handle supports on one side - these supports are only decorative and do not hurt the integrity of the handle, or its function.
