Antique SW Farber Plated Basket

Description

Vintage Plated Basket by SW Farber, founder of Farberware household products, c1920s, measuring 5-1/4" in diameter, 2" in height with handle down and 5" with handle raised. There are 4 cutwork patterns around plate, cut out handle and a pedestal base. Inside of base is stamped SW Farber New York. I could not find any other markings but believe this to be one of Farber's early plated giftware items. (It does require polishing with silver cream from time to time) This was purchased in 1960's from an antique shop in Moss Landing, CA.
