Gorgeous, antique, quadruple silver plate, bride's basket with Art Nouveau, repousse angel and baby. Made by Homan Mfg Co circa late 1800s. The face has a repousse Angel and baby and the rim has floral and scroll design. Very detailed, art nouveau style. This is perfect for weddings, display or a centerpiece. This basket is in good condition for its age. Has typical signs of use such as surface scratches, flea bites, stubborn tarnish, polish residue and some possible wear to the plating (backs of feet and underside of handle). There is some stubborn tarnish, especially on the underside (see pics), but some of the areas where I used a lot of elbow grease, it started to come off. No dings or dents. Still very shiny.
