THIS IS SILVERPLATED TALL FOOTED VASE WITH EMPTY CARTOUCHE AROUND THE UPPER PART, GRAPES DETAILS IN THE MIDDLE PART, SCROLL ROCOCO STYLE FEET ON THE BOTTOM. THE CENTERPIECE HAS A HANDLE IN THE MIDDLE WHICH CAN BE UNSCREWED. I DO NOT KNOW WHAT WAS THE PURPOSE OF IT. THE HOLE FOR THE HANDLE RUNS JUST IN THE MIDDLE OF THE MAKER'S LOGO.
THE MAKER: ROGERS SMITH CO NEW HAVEN, CONN.
THE SIZE: 8 1/2 INCH TALL, 7 1/2 INCH DIAMETER OF THE UPPER OPENING, ALMOST 14 INCH TALL WITH THE HANDLE.
THE CONDITION: GOOD, NO DENTS, SILVER LOSS, STILL DARK TARNISH, SOME DISCOLORATION INSIDE, NO DEEP SCRATCHES ON THE EXTERIOR.
LOVELY HAND CHASED FLORAL DESIGN, BEADED RIM, ORNATE FEET.
