    Description

    For your consideration is an antique Victorian era silver plate brides footed basket.  This is manufactured by Pairpoint Manufacturing Co and is quadruple plated.  This is no 1255 with what looks like daisies in relief and an acorn or a miser purse hanging and a large flower.  Ornate handle and 3 feet.  It has a crimped type edge.  It does need to be cleaned, as I have not touched it with cleaning other than dusting it down.  The color in the photos which looks like the plating has come off (brass colored) is from reflections.  It measures 9 1/2" in diameter and it is about 3 1/2" tall with the feet and 10" tall with the handle up.  A very pretty unique antique.
