Antique Meridan Brittania Silverplate Basket c1890s

Description

An antique silverplate basket made by Meriden Brittania Co. of Meriden, CT. circa 1890s. It's in excellent condition especially for it's age with just few spots of silver loss on the four ridges on underside. Otherwise, nothing more than signs of normal use. It measures about 11" x 9" x 10-1/2" with the handle raised. The handle stays in place raised straight up, not at an angle.
