Antique DERBY Silverplate Sugar or Candy Basket Beaded Handle & Rim Gilded Bowl

We are pleased to offer a beautiful silverplated sugar or candy basket from Derby Silver Co.  This piece has a classic octagonal panel motif with a beaded handle and rim.  The interior is gilded and it is a beautiful find - very impressive to display.
Condition:
Very good to excellent - no silver wear or loss.  The gilding on the inside is clean with no issues.  There are no monograms and the pattern is crisp and well defined.  It has been hand polished so there will be no surprises.  It appears to have been resilvered at one time, making the mark almost ilegible.

4 1/2" diameter, 2 1/2" tall.
