Antique Bridal Basket Quadruple Silverplate

Description

This beautifully ruffled bowl is decorated with pink flowers and green centers and brown leaves. There is some wear on the leaves and there are a few yellow stains around a flower and the inside of the bottom (see photo). There is a band of detail going around the bottom of the base. The decoration on the top has some small flowers, 2 fan-like pieces on each end and is mounted with small round silver balls. The bowl rests on a flat center piece with decorative trim at the bottom of the handle. It is marked "Derby Silver Co., Derby CT, Quadruple Plate, #5". Please note, this piece has not been polished. Considering the age of this piece, it is in good condition.
The bowl is 11" wide by 4-1/2" high. The base is 14" high by 9-3/8" wide. The tray the bowls rests on is 6" in diameter.
