Antique Adelphi (1890 - 1915) VICTORIAN Silverplate, Quadruple Plate over Brass or Copper, Bridal BASKET; Ornate Footed With Handle
This Elegant ADELPHI ANTIQUE Victorian Silverplate Bridal Basket w/Handle. It features an Intricate Raised Embossed Flower & Leaf Medley, as well as Intricate Raised Embossed Grapes around the edge of the basket and Intricate Raised Embellishment on the Handle.
Ornate Elegance throughout this Magnificent Basket from Handle to Pedestal. Look closely at how much Deep Scrollwork Detail there is on the Handle and surrounding the entire Rim of the basket, the Center of the Basket and the Footed Base....it is absolutely amazing.  The ADELPHI SILVERPLATE COMPANY WAS ESTABLISHED FROM 1890 - 1915. The quadruple Silverplate has deminished somewhat over the years and shows a Copper or Brass Beautiful and Stunning Undertone. There is patina, oxidation, tarnish and a couple of small dings.
