1885-1886 Silver Plate E.G. Webster & Bro Wedding Basket Original Pink Basket

Description

This Nature Land Candles offering is for a Antique Silver Plate E.G. Webster & Bro Wedding Basket with Stunning Original Pink and White Glass Ruffled Glass Insert.  This beautiful example of mid to late 1800s silver plate is 13 1/2" tall and 12" wide with the bowl.  The silver plate basket has a detailed pattern of  flowers and berries.  The basket is in very good condition with no chips or cracks.  The Bottom of the basket is marked with "Quadruple, Hand White Metal, E.G. Webster & Bro, NY".  This makers mark was used by Webster between 1865-1886. The bowl is pink and white with a basket weave pattern and ruffled edges.  There are wear marks on the outside of the bowl consistant with the age of the basket. The inside of the basket has three small scratches.  The do not take away from the beauty of the wedding basket.  This basket is hard to find in this condition.  Please see the pictures for details.
